Thank you very much for supporting the 4th Annual Rob Hamilton Memorial Golf Tournament.  This year’s very successful event raised more than $30,000 to benefit the Penn State Hershey Heart & Vascular Institute.  Dr. Lawrence Sinoway, Director of the Heart & Vascular Institute, dedicates the use of these funds to support and enhance the important programs and projects that enable them to be a national role model for comprehensive cardiovascular care. 

This year we are very proud to announce the opening of the new Rob Hamilton Library. It’s a state of the art meeting room that’s outfitted with the very latest in video and communications technology.  Doctors will now be able to examine extremely high resolution video images of a patient’s heart in a conference room setting.  This new capability will serve to improve diagnosis and treatment decisions while enhancing the quality of teaching future care givers.  Additionally the annual Rob Hamilton Memorial Lecture continues to bring nationally recognized experts to the Penn State Hershey Medical Center to address important topics in cardiovascular medicine and increasing essential continuing medical education.

With your help The Rob Hamilton Memorial Golf Tournament is able to honor Rob by helping patients in central Pennsylvania have access to the latest advancements in cardiovascular disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment.  We are very grateful for your loyal and generous support and hope that you’ll join us again next year on October 1^st, 2010 for another great event.
