The 5th
Annual Rob Hamilton Memorial Golf Tournament raised $32,560 in 2010 for
the Penn State Hershey Heart & Vascular Institute. Thank you for your
generous support which has been instrumental in making this event become
so successful and established in it’s mission to help the Heart & Vascular
Institute develop and deliver the latest advances in cardiovascular
disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
Over the last
five years The Rob Hamilton Memorial Golf Tournament has raised nearly
$164,000 for research, education and patient care initiatives. Each year
important topics in cardiovascular medicine are presented and discussed at
the annual Rob Hamilton Memorial Lecture which serves to increase
essential continuing medical education. In addition the golf tournament
event supports some other very worthy programs and projects within the
Institute which are critical in helping its clinicians and researchers
develop and offer the most sophisticated and comprehensive care for
devastating heart related diseases like Cardiac Sarcoidosis.
